Don't Stagnate... Innovate
At a time when almost every industry has been forced to grind to a halt with the Coronavirus pandemic it’s fantastic to see pockets of opportunity and innovation spring up. This article from Digital Signage Today perfectly sums that up:
Every industry and vertical has been searching for ways to both combat COVID-19 and stay healthy during the coronavirus outbreak. One obvious solution is to have better available sanitation policies so employees and customers alike can stay safe. Digital signage vendors are rolling out multiple solutions to help.
While some are giving away remote corporate communication tools for businesses and schools to stay connected, others are delivering health tips to their displays to keep the general public informed. One company in particular has developed a solution that combines digital signage with a hand sanitizer dispenser.
NoviSign Ltd., a digital signage software company, has unveiled its wall mounted hand sanitizing digital signage kiosk. This device features an internal auto-dispenser that can provide gel, foam or liquid sanitizer as well as a metal closing with an integrated commercial grade 21.5-inch display that runs on NoviSign's cloud-based digital signage software.
These displays offer advertisements, messages, videos, new feeds, social media feeds, health information and other content to customers as they wash their hands. It also comes in touchscreen and non-touchscreen variants.
Digital Signage Today spoke with Chad Bogan, director of sales and marketing for NoviSign to learn more about these digital signage kiosks and how they are helping businesses and customers alike.

A. Anything: infotainment, educational-based content, videos, commercials and more
Q. Does it offer instructions on proper hand washing techniques?
A. Yes, you can display hand washing techniques, health tips, and best practices.
Q.How can businesses use this display to calm customers nerves and boost sales during these uncertain times?

Q. Have you gotten any interest from companies for these displays?
A. Yes! We currently have over 500 units deployed in Europe; medical clinics, health clubs, gyms, dental offices, and malls
Q. Do you think we will see more deployments like this after the coronavirus tapers off?
A. Yes, with the current health scare the public has become open to preventing the spreading colds and cases of flu. The hand sanitizer kiosks offer organizations a new way to encourage clean hands while being able to share messages and media via the kiosks built-in screens.
